leethal is Lee Meredith
Lee is a maker of things, doer of stuff living in Portland, Oregon, with a main focus on designing original hand-knit accessories. She spends her time writing, designing, making, teaching, spinning, photographing, brainstorming, and creating. With a background in photography and art, and a love of color, puzzles, and experimentation, she brings all these elements into her creative work, as well as into her writing on her blog, do stuff!
Specializing in inventive knit accessory design, craft projects using recycled materials, yarn making, craft writing, and photography, Lee has created leethal.net to not just sell some of her creations, but to be a resource full of patterns, tutorials, inspiration, and ideas!
In addition to writing, designing, and creating for leethal.net, Lee sometimes teaches knitting and craft classes around Portland, and writes/designs for other blogs/websites/publications occasionally - see the links page for details, and the future page for class schedules, etc.
Note: leethal.net is not always up to date; Lee focuses mostly on knitting patterns these days, and keeps leethalknits.com up to date (including the faq page). The do stuff! blog will always tell you what's going on, and check in with twitter to stay current... this about section is a bit outdated for now...
You can contact Lee via email at leemeredith at gmail dot com...
or on the telephone at (971)-leethal but she prefers email.
Lee has a background in art and photography, with a BA from UC San Diego in media arts, an emphasis in photography, and a minor in studio arts. Having been a life-long crafter, she learned to knit and crochet in college, and crafted for fun while working photography-related day jobs after graduating. As her career shaped itself, all of her loves - crafting, photography, design, art, writing - have become a part of leethal.net!
