Double Scoops

self-published in November 2009: $4 PDF [also sold in kits]
also in a printed booklet through MagCloud for $5 (full preview available)

Use small amounts of different colored yarn to make a pair of cozy earmuffs or a warm headband to keep your ears toasty in the wintertime! A modified design of Barbara Walker's Long-Slip Textured Pattern will create the waffle cone, and simple knit/purl increase/decrease combinations make each scoop; recreate the same shape in stockinette stitch for the back lining. Finish the earmuffs with a braided top piece, the headband with a bit of kitchener stitch, sew the pieces together, and complete your item with either braided or twisted ties. Then wear your favorite flavors to keep your head warm while eating ice cream in the cold!

there are kits available in the leethal shop!
