spun recycled yarn
Unraveled from old sweaters, combined with threads from reuse centers or craft thrift stores, these yarns are spun and plied, and may or may not also be hand-dyed. Some are simply two different yarns spun together, some incorporate several different colored threads, and some are art yarns with beads, buttons, and/or scraps of fabric or yarn spun in!
